আজ শ্রীশ্রী রামকৃষ্ণদেবের আবির্ভাব তিথি। এই পবিত্র তিথিতে অনন্তশ্রী সীতারামদাস ওঙ্কারনাথদেব ‘পার্কের নাম’ প্রচলন করেন, কলকাতার গিরিশ পার্কে।

 আজকের এই শুভ লগ্নে প্রকাশিত হয় ‘শ্রীশ্রীওঙ্কারবাণী’ নামক একটি পুস্তক। এই পুস্তকে ১০৮টি দিব্য বাণী সঙ্কলিত আছে, এবং ঠাকুরের বিপুল প্রচারের জন্য এই পুস্তকের সেবা মূল্য ধার্য হয়েছে ‘শ্রদ্ধা ও ভক্তি’। 
সকালে গিরিশ পার্কে নাম কীর্তন ও গুরুপূজা আয়োজিত হয়। ‘পার্কের নাম’ সম্বন্ধে বলেছেন -
"যেভাবে নাম চলছে সেইভাবে নাম প্রচার করে চল।
যত নাম তত আনন্দ।
পার্কে পার্কে নাম - এ উপর থেকে নেমেছে, ঠাকুরের কি অপার করুণা।"
পার্কে যোগদানের বিষয়ে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর বলতেন -
"যার কানে এ নাম পৌঁছবে সে উদ্ধার হয়ে যাবে। তোদের অতীত সপ্তপুরুষ , ভবিষ্যত চতুর্দশ পুরুষ উদ্ধার হয়ে যাবে।
তোদের বৈকুণ্ঠে জমি কেনা হয়ে রইল । সারা সপ্তাহ তোরা ঠিক মত জপধ্যান করতে পারিস না । সেটা পূরণ হয়ে যাবে পার্কের নামে যোগ দিলে।"

Today is the Advent Tithi of Sri Sri Ramakrishnadev. On this holy Tithi, Anantashree Sitaramdas Omkarnathdev had commenced Parker Nam [Chanting Nam in parks] . On this auspicious day, a book named ‘SRI SRI OMKAR VANI’ was inaugurated. This book is a compilation of 108 divine messages of Sri Sri Thakur, and for the sake of Thakur’s Prachar, the only price which has been labeled for the book is ‘devotion and respect’.
Sri Sri Thakur has said about Parker Naam " Promote Naam as it is being done. More Naam brings more happiness. The Naam in the parks has descended from above - it is the boundless mercy of the Lord."
Sri Sri Thakur used to say about paeticipation in these Naam " Whoever hears this Naam will be liberated. Your forefathers and your future generations will attain liberation. You have purchased land at Vaikuntha ( Lord's abode). Though you may not be able to pray throughout the week, but participation in Parker Naam will compensate that."
