সীতারামের শিব ভাব-... [English below]

1]ঠাকুর সীতারামদাস ওঙ্কারনাথদেব নামমঞ্চে বসে ছিলেন। ... সেই সময়ে বেলুন থেকে সুশীলদা শিবুদা এসে ঠাকুরের কানে ধুত্র ফুল দিয়ে, পরে বেলপাতা দিয়ে চরন পূজা করে ‘নমঃ শিবায় নমঃ’ বলে মাথায় জল দেয়। বাবা সমাহিত , হাতের করতাল নিস্তব্ধ... সুশীলদা ভাবে বলে- ‘ঢাল ঢাল , শিবের মাথায় জল ঢাল।


’ ... সুশীলদা তাঁর দিকে তাকিয়ে বলেন- ‘বাবা বিশ্বনাথ , ভূতের নাচন দেখব’... মুকুন্দদা অ অবনিদা নাম করছিল, তারা তন্ময় হয়ে নাচতে লাগল... 
সেবক জগন্নাথ গান ধরল— ‘হর হর শঙ্কর শশাঙ্কশেখর, ভবধর ভোলা মহেশ্বর...’ ঠাকুরের দিকে তাকিয়ে দেখা গেল, শঙ্কর মুরতি ফুটে উঠল ... এই দেখে কেউ বাহ্যজ্ঞান শূন্য হয়,চোখ দিয়ে দর দর করে জল পড়তে থাকে...

2]ইন্দোরের এক হিন্দুস্তানি ইনস্পেক্টর।তার ছেলের কঠিন ব্যাধি হয়,চিকিৎসায় কোন ফল হচ্ছে না! একদিন সে ব্যাকুল হয়ে পাহাড়ের উপরে একটি শিবমন্দিরে গেল, কান্নাকাটি করল ছেলের আরোগ্য লাভের জন্য। সন্ধ্যার পূর্বে মন্দিরের মধ্যে একটি বিচিত্র শব্দ শুনল, তারপরেই দেখল—শিবলিঙ্গের উপর স্বয়ং শিব দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন। সে দৃশ্য দেখে ভয়ে ইনস্পেক্টর বাকরোধ হয়ে গেল! শিব বললেন—‘এই তুই কাঁদছিস কেন? কাঁদিস না, তোর ছেলে ভাল হয়ে যাবে।’ তারপরেই শিব অদৃশ্য হলেন। শিবলিঙ্গ থেকে এক মহাপুরুষ নেমে এলেন—জটাধারী, তিলক মালা‌ ভূষিত, ডোর কৌপীন বহির্বাস পরিহিত, বুকে পাদুকাযুগল! সেই মহাপুরুষ কাছে এসে ইনস্পেক্টরের বাম হাত ধরে বললেন—‘কাঁদছিস কেন? নাম করবি। ছেলে ভাল হয়ে যাবে।’ হাত ধরে পাহাড় থেকে নামিয়ে আনলেন, তখন ইনস্পেক্টর বিহ্বল ও নির্বাক।...ঘরে ঢুকেই জ্ঞান হারালেন ইনস্পেক্টর।
পরে অফিসে এসে এই ঘটনা জানালেন ইন্দোরের ততকালীন এস.পি. শ্রী নীরজাকান্ত চৌধুরীকে। নীরজাকান্তবাবু তাকে নিজ গুরুদেব ঠাকুর সীতারামদাস ওঙ্কারনাথের কাছে নিয়ে আসেন। সীতারামকে দেখেই সেই ইনস্পেক্টর বলে ওঠে—‘আপ শিব হ্যায় আপ শিব হ্যায়! আপকো হাম দেখা হ্যায়! বাবা হামকো কৃপা করিয়ে।’

এ হেন বহু ঘটনায় পূর্ণব্রহ্ম পুরুষোত্তম ওঙ্কারনাথের লীলায় আদিগুরু-শিব ভাব প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।

Sitaram's Shiva bhava...
1]Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath was sitting in Nam Mancha… At That time, Sri Sushil Bandopadhyay and Shibu Ghosh came and tucked Dhutra [Datura] flowers in His ears, offered flowers and Bilwa leaves to His feet, and poured water on His head uttering ‘Namoh Shivaya Namoh’. Thakur became engrossed in Samadhi, the Kartal became silent… Sushil Da said – ‘come come, pour water’… and he urged Thakur—‘Baba Viswanath, I want to see the dance of ghosts’. Suddenly, Mukunda and Abani started to dance in divine ecstasy. Sevak Jagannath started singing – ‘hara hara shankara sasankasekhara,, bhavadhara bhola maheswara..’ Some devotees present there saw—Shankara murti was being visualized in Thakur, and they became unconscious, with ceaseless tears rolling down their eyes…

2]A North Indian Inspector working at Indore, was perturbed by his son’s critical illness, that was not recovering inspite of medical treatments. So, with craving and desperation, the Inspector climbed up a hill and came to a Shiva temple. He kept on crying in that temple throughout the day for his son’s recovery. In the evening, he heard a strange sound in the temple, he looked and saw Lord Shiva has appeared above the Shiva lingam. With such a divine vision, the Inspector was speechless! Lord Shiva said—‘Oh why are you crying? Do not cry. Your son will be cured.’ So saying, Shiva disappeared. Thereafter, a Divine Saint stepped down from the Shiva lingam—He had long hairlocks, adorned in Tulsi Mala and Tilak, draped in Dor-Kaupina and small piece of cloth, with wooden sandals hanging on His chest! The Divine Saint came close and gripped the left hand of Inspector, and said—‘why do you cry? Chant Nam. Chant Nam always. Your son will be cured.’ So saying, He escorted the stupefied inspector down the hill upto his house. The Inspector entered his house and fainted.
Thereafter, when the inspector went to his duty, he narrated his experience to his boss Sri Nirajakanta Chowdhury [S.P. of Indore]. Nirajakanta took him to Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath [Nirajakanta’s Gurudev]. On seeing Thakur, the Inspector exclaimed aloud—‘You are Shiva! You are Shiva! I have seen You! Baba, please render Thy grace on me.’
