Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnathdev was residing at Uttarkashi. At noon, Thakur was called for accepting the offered meal. As usual, Thkaur asked—whether there is any guest left unattended? If so, they should be fed first before He eats. The attendant had seen previously, and thus replied—‘no body is there’. Thakur repeated—‘see properly’. The attendant now found a saffron clad Sanyasi coming towards the asram. Having arranged for the Sanyasi’s lunch [prasadam], the attendant came to Thakur, and Thakur sat down quietly to accept the offered food. But surprisingly, Thakur put aside the bowl of milk and the piece of lime, and said that it is a heinous sin to eat something without offering it to guests. The omniscient Master had known what all was missing in the plate of the stranger sanyasi!
JAI SITARAM.
