।।LuvKush Ashram - Bithur।।
đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸đ¸Mahatma Valmiki muni's ashram is situated at Bithur near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Lakshman had kept Sita devi here, beside Vamiki muni's ashram, on the instruction of Lord Sri Ram. When our LuvKush ashram was being constructed there by clearing the forest, the Kanpur brethren used to clean the forest and stay there. One night they saw two boys playing with bow and arrow and another day they saw Valmiki muni coming out from the forest and going away after offering obeisance at the house of the deity. He wore khadam (wooden footwear) and held kamandul (earthen jug) in his hand. A Sadhu baba, who was a 'Sidhha' used to live there. On hearing this he said that the LuvKush ashram had been constructed at the exact place where Sita devi was exiled.
(Eye Witness - Kinkar Sevananda)
Note - Kinkari Gurupriya (Choto Ma ) said that Aswamedh 's Horse had been captivated at that place where the Yagya Bedi of Sri Sri Thakur is now situated ...
