đģđžThakur Leela in Dramasđģđž
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨One of the important aspects of Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnathdev's Leela is His initiative to facilitate Leela chintan through religious dramas composed by Himself, that too in His holy presence. Such divine moments used to drench all devotees in celestial bliss. Smt Nandita Sarkar has recollected such a divine experience of 'Bijane Vijaya' being staged at Biswarupa auditorium--
"In the beginning of the drama, Thakur used to sit on His throne with His holy feet streched ahead, and Padmalochan-da and his brother Sushil-da used to sing the inaugural song 'Jaya Jaya Gurudeva bidhi'. Then the drama would commence. Thakur used to watch the acting whole night along with other spectators. At dawn, Thakur would be brought on the stage. The members of Shyam Sangha used to encircle Thakur and would dance with 'Hare Krishna' kirtan in a particular tune, a tune which still rings in my ears.
Thereafter Thakur would come to the house of Shivanidi [Kinkari Yogeswari] at Karbala Tank Lane, would perform the daily chores of morning, would accept some food offerings and would proceed elsewhere. Once, He was so engrossed in Bhava that He couldn't eat anything. Shivanidi was sad, but Thakur wrote to her-- 'This is being kept due.'..."
